Support
Help for everything nodeterm — the desktop app (macOS and Linux), the self-hosted Server Edition and nodeterm mobile, the iOS companion.
contact us
Email support@nodeterm.dev for anything — bugs, billing, questions, feedback. nodeterm is an independent project; a real person reads every message, and you'll normally hear back within a business day or two.
Help yourself first
Most questions are already answered in the documentation:
- Documentation — install, concepts, agents, remote access.
- Troubleshooting — the common failure modes and their fixes.
- FAQ — licensing, privacy, offline use, platform support.
- GitHub Issues — search existing reports or open a new one.
Reporting a bug
A report we can act on quickly includes:
- What you did, what happened, what you expected — the steps, ideally reproducible.
- Versions — the app version (nodeterm → About, or the badge in Settings) and your macOS / iOS version.
- A screenshot or recording when the problem is visual, and any error text verbatim.
Email it to support@nodeterm.dev or open a GitHub issue — whichever you prefer.
Purchases & subscriptions (iOS)
- Manage or cancel a nodeterm Pro subscription any time in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or from inside the app under Settings.
- Restore purchases — if Pro isn't recognized after a reinstall or on a new device, use Restore Purchases in the app's settings.
- Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Anything unclear about billing — email us and we'll sort it out.
Privacy
What the apps do and don't collect is documented in plain language in the privacy policy. Short version: no accounts, no tracking, your terminals and code stay on your machines.
